UNSW FC AGM Reminder - 12 Dec 2025

This is a reminder concerning our 2025 AGM to be held on 12 December 2025.
Following an outstanding 2025 season — highlighted by our Senior Men’s NPL team earning promotion to the top tier of NSW football for the first time in club history, our Senior Women’s NPL team consolidating their place in the top tier and qualifying for finals, gold medals at the National University Games for our Men’s team, significant progress across our youth programs, and excellent results in ESFA competitions — we are pleased to announce that the UNSW FC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, 12 December 2025. We will be hosting the AGM both online and in-person.

As per our Constitution, all positions on the Executive Committee and General Committee are vacated at the AGM. Nominations for those positions are now open. Any nominations, both self-nomination and nomination of another person, must be sent to mailto:secretary@unswfc.com.au for addressing at the AGM. The positions which will be vacated include:

The current term for the Board of Directors will conclude at the AGM, and the club will nominate and elect a new Board for 2025/26. Members wishing to self-nominate or nominate another member should email their nomination to secretary@unswfc.com.au (president@unswfc.com.au). Candidates are asked to submit a short statement (maximum 300 words) outlining what they would bring to the role. As per the constitution, the newly elected executive committee may take up to 30 days post the Annual General Meeting to vote in the new Board.
Further, a motion will be tabled at the AGM to amend the UNSW FC Constitution at Clause 15.2, to expand the permitted number of members of the Board from 5 to 7. As per Clause 2.1 of the UNSW FC Constitution, this amendment will be in the form of a Special Resolution, which will require a vote of 75% to pass. Further information about this change will be made available to members prior to the AGM.
